Trabzonspor are “working intensively” to sign midfielder John Lundstram from Rangers this summer.
Manager Abdullah Avci, who has said they are still working to sign the Ibrox midfield player, says as much.
Given that his current contract at Ibrox is expiring and it has long been known that Philippe Clement and his group wish to take a different path, Lundstram is expected to leave Rangers this summer.
He has long been associated with a move to Turkey, and a number of sources from that nation suggest that Trabzonspor and the player have already arrived to a basic understanding for him to leave Ibrox this summer.
like isn’t certain yet, though, as it appears like Rangers haven’t decided either way yet.
Ahead of the Scottish Cup final matchup with Celtic, Clement did in fact allude to that this week, stating that he and his team will make all player decisions and will not be swayed by the opinions of the crowd.
That was a response to the possibility that Rangers may give Lundstram a farewell this weekend, but it also alluded to other issues.
Avci claims that Trabzonspor is still pressing for Lundstram to quit Ibrox in the interim.
He declared, “We are striving for a competitive and sustainable Trabzonspor.”
“We are putting a lot of effort into Lundstram’s transfer,” Information on him will soon be available.
