On Friday night, Draymond Green made it quite evident what he thought of Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert.

Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert fined $100,000 for directing 'money sign' gesture toward referee

When Green appeared as a guest analyst on TNT’s “Inside the NBA” for Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinal round at Target Center between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Dallas Mavericks, he was heckled by Timberwolves supporters who lingered after their team’s 109-108 defeat.

Chants of “Draymond sucks!” echoed in the background during the panel’s post-game interview with Mavericks star Luka Dončić, prompting Green to deflect by dragging Gobert.

It’s not me, Rudy sucks! How did I act? I took no action at all!” In reaction to the heckling fans, Green responded.

Gobert has caused Green conflicting emotions lately. While praising the Frenchman for his defensive improvements this season and pronouncing him to be a potential Hall of Famer, Green also refers to him as “BBQ chicken” when facing certain elite players.

But after Minnesota’s second straight defeat, it’s evident where Green stands in the race for the four-time Defensive Player of the Year award.
