Hong Kong snooker star Ng On-yee won the Landywood British Women’s Open on Sunday.
In the championship match, the 33-year-old defeated Mink Nutcharut of Thailand 4-1 to earn her first-ever victory at the Landywood Snooker Club.
She had previously defeated former world champions Reanne Evans of the UK and Baipat Siripapor of Thailand. Ng posted on Facebook on Monday, saying, “Special thanks to Reanne Evans for sparing me some time with your practice table.” “Next, let’s get back to work in QSchool Event 2 before heading home.”
46 players from all over the world competed in the women’s snooker tournament, which was last won by Bai Yulu of China.
Ng is currently in Leicester, UK, for the Q School event, which started on Monday and ends on Saturday.
