Villa not ready to lose their talented midfielder

Longtime fans of Luiz, Arsenal made three late attempts to capture him in the summer of 2022 before the player agreed to a new, long-term contract with Villa that would last until 2026.
With Mohamed Elneny and Thomas Partey scheduled to leave for the African Cup of Nations in January, the Gunners will likely be looking for a new midfield player.
Reports indicate that they will rekindle their interest in Luiz. Arsenal is still very interested in Luiz, but they have apparently shown interest in former Wolves player Ruben Neves as well.
