Kelenic’s time with the Seattle Mariners was apparent to be uncelebrated and evidently seems like the former top prospect doesn’t have the best feelings for them.
He wrote a social media post after the move on Monday afternoon thanking Seattle fans, his teammates, his family, God and the Braves.
However in the post the Mariners organization was not included on the farewell post.

It is to be believed the organization rejected an extension offer, which might have caused a backlash in the relationship from the start.
The Mariners first acquired Kelenic as the No. 6 overall pick in the 2018 MLB Draft in a blockbuster trade with the New York Mets.
Quickly Kelenic became one of the club’s top prospects by 2020, as he was fast-tracked to the big leagues by 2021.
As per his stats is concern, Kelenic hit just .181 with a .615 OPS and -1.8 WAR in 93 games as a rookie.
In the following year two, Kelenic hit .141 with a .534 OPS and -0.2 WAR while bouncing back and forth between the majors and minors.
In 2023 he was batting .277 with an .846 OPS through the end of May, only for him to hit .226 with a .637 OPS for the remainder of the season.
Kelenic the lefty-hitter started the 2023 campaign strong but suffered a self-inflicted injury in the dugout.
The 24 year old is undoubtedly a top prospect and the Braves will eventually make him an All-Star. He is expected to start for the Braves as a left-fielder against right-handers.
As revealed Kelenic trade allowed Seattle to cleared a chunk of salary off its payroll, after the Braves to take the contracts of Gonzales and White.
