Billet families required for female Sea Eagles players

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are seeking families to billet some of their most promising young female players for the 2024 Tarsha Gale Cup.
The players arrive in January to prepare for the U19s competition, which runs through until April.
Sea Eagles CEO Tony Mestrov said the Club is keen to hear from families, preferably from the Northern Beaches, who are interested in providing accommodation for the players.
A remuneration package will be provided to the families to help cover expenses.
“Billeting plays such an important part in a young player’s sporting journey,’’ Mestrov said.
“For some of these young girls, it will be their first time away from home. It can be daunting but we want to find families who want to not only help them, but make a difference in their lives.
“We often find that the families involved really enjoy going on the journey with them. Some even make long term friendships out of it.
“So, if you have a spare room, or even a granny flat, please contact the club and be a part of our support network. It can be a very rewarding experience for all parties.”
