Ohio’s Cleveland In Cleveland Browns Stadium today, the Browns (8-5) take on the Chicago Bears (5-8). Due to a slew of recent injuries—which do not include Deshaun Watson, Nick Chubb, and Jack Conklin—the Browns will be without numerous crucial players. These injuries occurred early in the season.
The list of injuries has increased to include defensive linemen Maurice Hurst II and Ogbo Okoronkwo, offensive tackles Dawand Jones and Jedrick Wills Jr., defensive backs Grant Delpit and Rodney McLeod, and maybe even Okoronkwo, who is out for the season.
If the Browns want to go to the playoffs ahead of other teams who are just one game behind them, their backup quarterback will have to step up significantly. Defeating the Bears, who have greatly improved under Justin Field, would be a positive start.
With his new deal in hand, Joe Flacco tosses two touchdowns and leads the Browns to a 35-28 triumph.
