While Rose Bowl preparations were underway on Monday night, Saban chatted with reporters.
TUSCALOOSA, Alabama: For the first time in more than two weeks, Alabama head coach Nick Saban will speak to the media. On December 2, the Crimson Tide defeated then-No. 1 Georgia in the 2023 SEC Championship.
On New Year’s Day, No. 4 Alabama and No. 1 Michigan will play in the Rose Bowl. Additionally, Wednesday is National Early Signing Day.
Saban is scheduled to take the platform at roughly 5:50 p.m. CT.

Saban said, “I think everyone’s got to practice with a plan.”
Saban said, “It’s hard to carry momentum from the season to [one] game.”
Regarding worries about sign theft, Saban said, “We’re not really concerned about any of that stuff.”
Coleman Hutzler will remain with the Alabama staff till the end of the season, according to Saban.
